Look up the model of your RV or call the person who’s renting it to you and they should be able to tell you what kind of power your RV, Trailer, Van, or Yurt needs. It’s really important that we have the right information here because we rent the exact number of cables and fixtures for each type of accommodations so just paying for the more expensive connection (for instance) doesn’t actually guarantee you power as we will have the wrong connection available for you which you won’t be able to connect to.
Most Tents, Yurts, Vans use a 20A connection. This is a regular edison plug (like the kind you see on your walls). So you’ll need to order this connection and bring 50ft of regular 12 Gauge extension cabling to reach the nearest distro.
Most Class C RVs and Trailers use a 30A connection. This is a TT-30 3 slanted prong style connection. You’ll to order this style connection and bring 50ft of heavy duty 10 Gauge extension cable with the TT-30 Plug.
Most Class A’s use a 50A connection. These types of RVs have a 4 prong 14-50 plug. This is very specialized so make sure this is the type of plug you need. Bring 50ft of 6-8 Gauge extension cable with 14-50 plugs.
Many RV and Trailer companies will give you are rental and include some of this cable. Often you’ll have 25ft standard and can ask for the extra long length. If they don’t provide it, please purchase the appropriate cables and bring them with you.
The recommendations above are generally correct but please verify it with your renter.
