If you are bringing a trailer, RV, Yurt, or Van and want to be on our grid then you can paypal us directly at email@example.com with your power connection type (20A - $150, 30A - $200, 50A - $250). Make sure to put your name and email in the comments section in paypal so we know which plan you want and who it’s for (don’t assume that we can decipher from your paypal address who you are!).
Only 1 person from your group per connection point needs to pay for power. If you are staying in one of the PAV-VAN Containers (Mobile Office Units) please sign up for 50A power (as there are 2 rooms and 2 AC units that tend to get powered) and let us know so we can have the appropriate equipment onsite.
You must be accurate about which power hookup you need (20A, 30A, or 50A) or you will NOT get service. We have had many errors in the past which creates needs for cabling, different hookup equipment, and extra labor which we are unlikely to have onsite and be able to provide.
Please bring 50ft of the appropriate extension cabling that are rated appropriately given your connection type. Extension cables are rated for the number of Amps they can safely carry through their lines and will have the specific connectors:
- 20A - Heavy duty 50ft / 12 Gauge Extension Cable with Regular Edison Plug (regular household style plug)
- 30A - Heavy duty 50 ft / 10 Gauge Extension Cable with TT-30 plug (3 slanted prong)
- 50A - Heavy Duty 50ft / 6-8 Gauge Extension Cable with 14-50 plug (4 prong).
We will do our best to provide consistent power throughout the week and in fact have had a great record the last couple years of doing just that. Please be aware that you may experience a brown out during peak hours (midday sun) or during our evening DJ Dance parties on Wednesday and Saturday when our power needs are quite high.
Although we don't expect this to occur and in fact had our power grid up 100% of the time last year, it may happen. If this is of concern make sure you understand how to run your generator without shore power and that you have enough gasoline in your tank to run it.
