How do I know the logistics for Early Arrivals? – Camp Mystic

Mystic is awarded a set allocation of Work Access Passes that allow us to enter Burning Man before the gates officially open. We tend to receive our allocation of between 80-90 passes in mid July. When we receive those passes we will look at those peopl who have marked that they can come early for build and give those passes FIRST to those that can arrive earliest starting on the Monday before gates open (week before) and then allocate the remainder to those coming in on Tuesday and then no later than Wednesday prior to the burn. We need 100% of the crew to be onsite Wednesday night so we have a full day with a full crew on Thursday to finish off what our early build crew hasn't gotten to yet.

We'll be doing 1 or 2 calls prior to the burn to get to know each other and to go over the plan together so everyone is super excited and clear about what we are co-creating.

If you asked to be on early arrival and can be on-site early then it's highly likely you'll get one if you can show up on or before Wednesday although we generally have MORE requests for Build than we have passes so there is sometimes a waiting list, but in general 80-90% of the people who want to come early and let us know get a pass.
